Payments to some internally displaced persons may be suspended in July: the reason
Payments for internally displaced persons
In July 2026, payments to internally displaced persons will continue at the same levels. However, some displaced persons will need to update their details in good time, otherwise their benefits may be suspended.

This is set out in Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 709.

How much and when will payments be made?

As before, the money will be paid in two instalments – by the 15th and by the 28th of each month. The exact date of payment depends on the operations of the bank and the Treasury.

The amounts of the benefits have not changed:

  • adults will receive 2,000 hryvnias per month;
  • children and people with disabilities will receive 3,000 hryvnias each.

Payments are granted to vulnerable categories of IDPs for a period of up to 30 months from the date the assistance was first applied for.

Who needs to update their details

You should contact the Pension Fund or the Administrative Services Centre if you:

  • have changed their address or family composition;
  • are applying for child benefit for the first time;
  • have had their application refused and wish to resume payments following confirmation of their income;
  • have experienced a change in their financial circumstances and wish to have the decision on their benefit entitlement reviewed.

The main condition for reinstatement

To have payments resumed following a refusal, the income criterion applies: no more than 10,380 hryvnias per person. If this information is not provided in good time, payments may be suspended.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that the government has changed the rules on the use of housing vouchers for internally displaced persons.

Water charges have risen: will subsidies be adjusted automatically?

Following the increase in water charges, recipients of housing benefits do not need to resubmit their applications or contact the Pension Fund. The benefit should be recalculated automatically once the Pension Fund of Ukraine receives official data on the new cost of the utility service.
