Over the past 24 hours, 317 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Russian forces carried out the most attacks in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.

The 1,555th day of Russia’s large-scale war against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 68 air strikes and dropped 202 guided bombs.

In addition, the Russian army deployed 8,359 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,714 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 45 using multiple launch rocket systems.

The Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces and artillery struck seven areas where enemy forces were concentrated.

Situation on the main fronts

On the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk fronts, Russian troops carried out one air strike using guided aerial bombs and conducted 69 shelling attacks. Four assault operations were recorded.

On the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions 11 times near Staritsa, Vovchansk, Prylipka and in the direction of Izbytske and Ternova.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled nine attacks in the areas of Kivsharivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Novoyegorivka, Holubivka and Pishchane.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attempted to breach defences 11 times in the areas of Lyman, Drobysheve, Torske, Yampil, Kolodyaziv, Stavky and Shandryholove.

In the Sloviansk direction, eight attacks were recorded towards Zakytne, Kalenyky and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy carried out three offensive operations near Fedorivka Druha and Minkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out 15 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Illinivka and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 66 assaults.

Fighting continued near Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Zatyishko, Muravka, Kotlyne, Udachne and Molodetske, as well as in the direction of Kuchero-Yar, Vilne, Serhiivka, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Myrne and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked in the Zlagoda area.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces carried out 35 attacks in the areas of Rybne, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Zaliznychne and in the direction of Novozaporizhzhia, Huliaipole, Olenokostyantynivka, Staroukrainka, Pryvillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Sviatopetrivka, Hirky, Tsvitkove and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled nine attacks in the areas of Stepnogorsk, Shcherbakiv, Plavni, Mali Shcherbakiv and Mala Tokmachka.

No active offensive operations were recorded in the Dnipro sector.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of offensive groupings being formed were detected.

Russian military losses

According to the General Staff, the Russian army lost 1,160 troops over the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian forces also destroyed:

  • 1 tank
  • 7 armoured fighting vehicles
  • 42 artillery systems
  • 1 multiple launch rocket system
  • 7 ground-based robotic systems
  • 1,560 unmanned aerial vehicles
  • 261 vehicles
  • 3 units of specialist equipment.
