Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces have eliminated a further 1,420 Russian soldiers. The Russian army has also lost dozens of pieces of military equipment, including three air defence systems.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published updated figures on Russian military casualties as of 6 July 2026.

According to the military command, Russia has lost around 1,411,050 troops since the start of the full-scale invasion. In the past 24 hours alone, personnel losses amounted to a further 1,420.

Also over the past day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed seven tanks, 16 armoured fighting vehicles, 63 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system and three air defence systems.

In addition, the Russian army lost 1,979 operational-tactical-level drones, three cruise missiles, 580 vehicles and tankers, 12 ground-based robotic systems and four pieces of specialised equipment.

In total, since the start of the full-scale war, the Russian Federation’s losses, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, amount to 12,088 tanks, 24,894 armoured combat vehicles, 45,451 artillery systems, 1,917 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,473 air defence systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 392,717 operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 4,850 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 116,686 vehicles and tankers, 4,389 units of specialised equipment and 1,833 ground-based robotic systems.

The General Staff noted that the figures provided are subject to revision.
