The High Anti-Corruption Court has confiscated over 7 million hryvnias in connection with MP Litvinenko’s luxury cars
This was reported by the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has ruled that assets linked to a member of the 9th convocation of the Ukrainian Parliament are of unaccounted origin.
According to media reports, the MP in question is Serhiy Lytvynenko of the Servant of the People party.
On 14 May, a panel of judges at the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld a claim by the SAPO prosecutor to recognise as unjustified assets registered in the names of a number of individuals and legal entities linked to the MP.
This concerns three vehicles:
– a 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser 200;
– a 2020 BMW 730LD;
– a 2020 BMW X5.
The court ruled that their value – 7,255,976 UAH – should be confiscated as state revenue.
According to the SAPO and the NACP, during the gathering of evidence, it was established that in 2020–2021 these vehicles were purchased for private ownership by unofficial drivers of the MP and a legal entity associated with him.
Following the purchase, as noted by the anti-corruption authorities, the official himself used the vehicles.
He also obtained permission for these vehicles to enter the territory of the Verkhovna Rada.
The NACP analysed the income and expenditure of the MP and his family members.
According to the agency’s findings, there was insufficient legal income to purchase these vehicles.
The decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court may be appealed within 30 days of the date of its full text being drawn up.
As reported by ThePublic, in accordance with Decree No. 496/2025, former Defence Minister Rustem Umerov has been appointed Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine.
