The SBU has displayed the wreckage of the 'Geran' drone used by Russia to strike the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (PHOTOS)
This is stated in a statement by the SBU.
Ukrainian law enforcement officers reached this conclusion based on an analysis of the drone debris found at the impact site. SBU officers found fragments of the fuselage and engine of the Russian ‘kamikaze’ drone.

“During the examination of the wreckage of the enemy drone, it was established that some of its components were manufactured in the Russian Federation within the Alabuga Special Economic Zone. This is evidenced by the relevant markings found on the fragments of the Russian drone,” the SBU stated.
Investigators are classifying this strike as a war crime and have already initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defence is shifting the blame for the damage to the Lavra onto Ukraine. They claimed that the complex of buildings at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was hit by a missile fired at the Patriot air defence system.
“One of the reasons for the malfunction of this system could be that Western countries supplied missiles with expired shelf lives,” the occupiers claim.
Yuriy Ignat, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, explained that photos of the debris from air defence missiles had appeared online; these missiles had intercepted 15 Russian ballistic missiles and five ‘Zircons’ that night. The Russians used a photo showing a fragment of such a missile to claim that “Ukraine is shelling itself”.
