The State Tax Service has appointed a new head of the Human Resources Department

There has been a change in personnel at the State Tax Service. Dmytro Slivinsky has been appointed Acting Director of the Human Resources Department, succeeding Dmytro Tsymbalyuk.

Who has taken charge of the personnel department

Prior to his appointment, Dmytro Slivinsky worked within the State Tax Service in a unit responsible for the prevention and detection of corruption. In particular, he headed the third division of the Central Directorate of the State Tax Service’s Department for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption. This information had previously been published on the tax service’s official websites.

Publicly available declarations also show that, prior to joining the State Tax Service, Slivinsky served in the National Police of Ukraine. This is confirmed by data from the NACP’s Register of Declarations.

Who did he replace?

As Head of the Personnel Department, Dmytro Slivinsky succeeded Dmytro Tsymbaliuk, who previously headed this structural unit of the State Tax Service.

The Personnel Department is responsible for the service’s personnel policy, recruitment, civil service career progression, staff professional development and the organisation of personnel procedures.

There are no official explanations regarding the rotation as yet

The State Tax Service has not yet disclosed the reasons for the personnel change nor issued a separate announcement regarding the appointment.

However, the change in leadership has already been reflected in the official structure of the State Tax Service’s central administration, where Dmytro Slivinskyi is listed as acting director of the Personnel Department.
