The weather in Ukraine on 10 July 2026 will bring rain, thunderstorms and squalls
Forecasters are predicting moderate, brief showers across Ukraine. Thunderstorms are possible in some areas.
In Ukraine, on Friday 10 July, short showers are expected, with thunderstorms, hail and squalls in places. The heaviest rainfall is forecast for the eastern regions, whilst daytime temperatures will range from 15° to 28°, depending on the region.

This has been reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.

Forecasters are predicting moderate, short-lived showers across Ukraine. Thunderstorms are possible in some areas.

Heavy rain is expected in the eastern regions. According to the three-day forecast, heavier rainfall is likely in some parts of the Left Bank on 10 July.

In some areas, hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s are possible. In most northern and central regions, no significant rainfall was expected overnight, but the weather will become unsettled again during the day.

What will the temperature be?

The wind will be mainly westerly, 5–10 m/s.

Daytime temperatures will range from 19–25°. It will be warmer in the south and south-east of the country — 23–28°. Cooler weather is expected in the western regions — 15–20°.

Weather in Kyiv and the surrounding region

In the Kyiv region, brief showers are forecast for the afternoon of 10 July. Thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the region.

The wind will be westerly, 5–10 m/s. Temperatures in the Kyiv region will range from 21–24°.

In Kyiv, daytime temperatures are expected to be 21–23°. The weather will be cloudy with sunny spells, and a brief shower is possible in the afternoon.

What to bear in mind

Due to thunderstorms, hail and squalls, drivers should be careful on the roads, especially during downpours and gusts of wind. During a thunderstorm, it is best to avoid staying near trees, advertising structures, power lines and open bodies of water.

The weather will be most unsettled in areas where heavier rainfall and thunderstorms are forecast. In such areas, there may be temporary reduced visibility, flooding of some sections of road and disruption to traffic.
