Russia has attacked a number of regions in Ukraine there have been fatalities and dozens have been injured
Kharkiv Oblast
On the night of 10 July, Russian troops attacked the town of Valky in the Bohodukhiv Raion of Kharkiv Oblast using drones. According to Oleg Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, a 50-year-old woman was killed. A 23-year-old woman was admitted to hospital with injuries. A 27-year-old man and an 18-year-old youth suffered acute stress reactions. The strike caused a fire, damaging five private homes and two outbuildings.
In the village of Mala Danilivka in the Kharkiv region, around ten residential buildings were damaged as a result of Russian shelling, as were the electricity and gas supply lines to some properties. Several local residents sought medical assistance due to acute stress reactions. No reports of seriously injured people have been received.
Zaporizhzhia region
In the Zaporizhzhia region, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration, Russian forces carried out 1,038 strikes on 49 settlements over the past 24 hours. As a result of the attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, one person was killed and a further 12 were injured. There were 153 reports of damage to infrastructure, residential buildings and vehicles.
Mykolaiv region
In Mykolaiv, Russian troops attacked transport infrastructure the day before using Shahed and Gerber-type strike drones. According to Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, a 45-year-old man was injured and hospitalised. Later, a 33-year-old woman sought medical attention and will undergo outpatient treatment. A weighbridge complex, 19 lorries and specialist equipment were damaged. In the Halytsynivska community, a disused medical facility was damaged. Russian forces also attacked the Ochakivska community six times using FPV drones.
Dnipropetrovsk region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian troops carried out drone attacks on three districts on nearly ten occasions. In the Nikopol district, a business was damaged and a 36-year-old man was injured; he will receive outpatient treatment. Petrol stations were damaged in the Pishchanska community in the Samarivskyi district and the Mezhyritska community in the Pavlohrad district. In Pavlohrad, a car caught fire and private residential buildings were damaged. Rescue services extinguished all the fires.
Kherson Region
In the Kherson region, according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, three people were killed and a further 34 were injured, including three children, as a result of Russian attacks over the past 24 hours. Fourteen private homes, a mobile phone mast, a minibus and private cars were damaged.
Sumy Region
In the Sumy region, nine people were injured over the past 24 hours as a result of Russian strikes. In the Sumy community, two men aged 43 and 50 were injured. An apartment block and a private house, a shop, two cars, outbuildings and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged. Residents of the Bilopil, Berezivka, Putivl, Shostka and Popivka communities were also injured. Law enforcement agencies have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in relation to all these incidents.
Donetsk Oblast
In the Donetsk region, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the regional military administration, Russian troops killed one civilian in Druzhkivka over the past 24 hours. A further ten people were injured in Kramatorsk, Komyshuvakha, Malotaranivka, Novoselivka and Krasnotorets.
Separately, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that, following a night-time air strike on the residential area of the village of Shabelkivka in the Kramatorsk community, rescue workers recovered the bodies of two people from the rubble of a destroyed house. During the operation, emergency services cleared two tonnes of building debris. Fires in a residential building, a garage and three cars were also extinguished.
