On Saturday, 27 June, hot summer weather is set to continue across Ukraine. In most regions, temperatures will reach +33 degrees, although forecasters are predicting brief showers and thunderstorms in some areas

This has been reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.

Where rain is expected

Cloudy weather with brief showers is forecast for the Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. No significant rainfall is expected in the rest of Ukraine; there will be variable cloud cover with sunny spells.

What will the temperature be?

It will be warmest in Zakarpattia, Prykarpattia, Bukovina and most of the central regions, where temperatures will reach +31...+33 degrees. In the western regions, daytime temperatures are forecast to be +29...+33, in the northern regions – +27...+31, in the central regions – +27...+33, in the east – +23...+29, and in the south – +25...+30 degrees. Overnight, temperatures across the country will range from +14 to +22 degrees, depending on the region. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre, summer-like weather is set to continue in Ukraine at the end of June. The highest temperatures are expected in the western and central regions, whilst in the east and south-east there will be occasional short-lived showers and thunderstorms in places.
