Russia has attacked Zaporizhzhia: two children are among the casualties

On the night of 27 June, Russian forces carried out air strikes on Zaporizhzhia. Nine people, including two children, were injured as a result of the attack. Residential buildings, an educational establishment and cars were damaged in the city

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Rescue workers have freed people from under the rubble

One of the Russian air strikes hit a high-rise residential block. The roof of the building was partially destroyed, as were four flats on the ninth and tenth floors.

During the rescue operation, emergency services rescued two people from the rubble.

An educational institution and residential buildings were damaged

Another guided aerial bomb struck the grounds of an educational institution.

The attack also damaged neighbouring high-rise buildings, private property and cars.

Rescue workers, medics, police and other emergency services were working at the site of the Russian strike.

As a reminder, on the evening of 26 June, Russian forces carried out a massive air strike on Zaporizhzhia. The attack destroyed civilian infrastructure, residential buildings and educational establishments. Rescue operations are ongoing.
