There were 256 skirmishes on the front line over the past 24 hours, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk sector

Over the past 24 hours, 256 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. The highest number of attacks by Russian forces occurred in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk and Huliaipole sectors.

As of 08:00 on 1 July, the 1,589th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine is underway. Over the past 24 hours, 256 combat engagements were recorded on the front line.

Russian troops carried out one missile strike, using a single missile. The enemy also carried out 81 air strikes and dropped 246 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russian Armed Forces deployed 9,801 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,083 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, 47 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck five areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, five artillery pieces, one depot, six drone control centres and another key enemy facility.

Six skirmishes took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out three air strikes, dropped five aerial bombs and carried out 65 shelling attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, Russian troops attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 12 times in the direction of Malaya Vovcha, Khatne, Zarubinka, Shev’yakivka and in the areas of Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchanski Khutory and Artilne.

In the Kupiansk sector, five attacks were recorded near Kolisnykivka, Borivska Andriivka, and in the directions of Petropavlivka and Kivsharivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy made 14 attempts to breach the defences of Ukrainian forces in the areas of Stavky, Lyman, Ozerny, Borova, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Dibrova and Yampil.

In the Sloviansk sector, the occupiers carried out 27 assaults in the directions of Kryva Luka, Ozerny, Rai-Oleksandrivka, as well as in the areas of Riznykivka and Kalenyky.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one skirmish took place near Malynivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out 23 attacks in the areas of Ivanopil, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 31 enemy assaults in the areas of Hryshyne, Novomykolaivka, Nikanorivka, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Udachne, Kotlyne, as well as in the directions of Serhiivka and Bilytske.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the Defence Forces repelled four attacks near Piddubne, Ternove and Kalynivske.

On the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers launched 23 attacks in the directions of Kosivtseve, Dobropillia, Hirke, Vozdvizhivka, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove and Charivne.

The enemy did not carry out any offensive operations in the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army suffered losses of 1,210 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed two tanks, five armoured fighting vehicles, 71 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, four air defence systems, five ground-based robotic systems, 1,891 drones, 395 vehicles and one piece of specialised equipment.
