Trump to scrap tariffs on Scotch whisky following the British monarch’s visit

The Russian authorities are putting in place legal and coercive mechanisms that could be used in the event of a new mobilisation. At the same time, the Kremlin is preparing for potential public discontent, according to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War.

Tetyana Chornovol, a former Member of Parliament and serviceman in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has published a post in which she addressed Daria Kalenyuk, the Executive Director of the Anti-Corruption Action Centre. In it, she expressed the view that the activist’s husband should voluntarily enlist in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Irish Government is to provide Ukraine with an additional aid package worth 25 million euros. The funds will be used to strengthen air defences.

German military engineers, alongside Polish forces, are constructing defensive structures in north-eastern Poland, particularly near the strategic Suwałki Corridor. The mission is initially scheduled to run until October 2026.

Ukraine is entering a more challenging phase of the war, during which attacks on economic and logistical infrastructure may have an impact on people’s daily lives. In particular, temporary disruptions to the supply of certain goods cannot be ruled out.
