Trump to invite leaders of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to G20 summit in Florida
U.S. President Donald Trump said he would invite the presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to the G20 summit to be held in 2026 in the U.S. state of Florida. He announced it on Truth Social.
According to Trump, he held phone conversations with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to achieve peace in the current international conflicts, as well as prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation.
The US President stressed that Washington's relations with Astana and Tashkent remain at a high level, calling them exceptional. He also reminded that the United States will host the G20 summit next year.
According to Trump, official invitations will be sent to both leaders as guests of the summit, which is scheduled to be held in Miami.
