Ukraine aims to kill 200 Russians for every square kilometre of ground gained — Ministry of Defence
This was stated by Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov at a meeting with journalists.
According to his figures, the figure stood at 35,351 in March and 34,544 in December. Whilst in October 2025 Russia was losing 67 soldiers per square kilometre of advance, by January this had risen to 165, in February to 244, in March to 254, and in April to 179.
The minister added that all these figures have been verified via the ‘eBaly’ system and confirmed by combat units.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that Ukraine had defended over 1,000 km of logistics routes from Russian FPV drones.
