Ukraine spends 172 million dollars daily on the war against Russia
This is 30 million dollars more than last year.

About this states the Head of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Roksalana Pidlasa.

"Exactly one year ago, I stood in this hall and told you that one day of war costs the Ukrainian budget 140 million dollars. Now, the war costs 172 million dollars every day," - Pidlasa noted.

According to her, this figure includes salaries for military personnel, ammunition, and weapons.

"But also what you might not think about when it comes to the cost of war. Ukraine continues to financially support wounded soldiers, the missing, and the families of the fallen," - she explained.

Pidlasa reported that Ukraine spends 31% of its GDP on defense. According to her, this is the highest rate in the world.
