Ukraine and Turkey are stepping up security cooperation: outcomes of the meeting in Istanbul

A key aspect of the talks was the coordination of efforts to strengthen the protection of life in Europe and the Middle East. Ukraine is ready to support Turkey with its expertise and unique experience in the field of security technologies. Teams from both countries are currently finalising the details of future cooperation.
Energy independence: gas and infrastructure
The parties moved on to discussing the practical implementation of joint projects:

development of gas infrastructure;

joint development of promising gas fields.
These steps aim to strengthen stability across the entire Black Sea region and ensure the energy security of the partners.

The Ukrainian side expressed its deep gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the entire Turkish people for their unwavering support for the territorial integrity and independence of our state. Close cooperation over recent years lays the foundation for the implementation of large-scale regional initiatives.
