Operators of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces struck several Russian anti-aircraft missile systems and a fuel and lubricants depot. The strikes took place in the Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk regions.

Pilots from the 413th ‘Raid’ Regiment struck a ‘Tor-M2U’ air defence missile system and another ‘Tor-M2’ in the Zaporizhzhia region. Operators from the 9th ‘Kairos’ Battalion of the 414th ‘Madyar Birds’ Brigade also struck a ‘Tor-M2’ in the Luhansk region. The strikes were carried out on 15 and 16 March.

The Unmanned Systems Forces noted that the enemy is attempting to protect its air defence systems. In particular, it is dispersing them, moving them further inland, and using dummies and other means of camouflage. However, these measures do not prevent Ukrainian operators from carrying out strikes.

Separately, it is reported that on 16 March in the Zaporizhzhia region, operators from the 412th Nemesis Brigade struck a Russian military fuel and lubricants depot. The operations were conducted in coordination with the Deep Strike Centre.

On the night of 18 March, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 147 strike drones of various types, including Shahed, ‘Gerbera’ and ‘Italmas’. The launches were carried out from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the Gvardeisky district in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

As of 08:00 on 18 March, air defence forces had neutralised 128 enemy drones in the north, south and east of the country. Fifteen strike drones were recorded hitting 12 locations, and debris was found at three locations.
