The domestic defence sector is reaching a new level of autonomy. OSIRIS AI has unveiled the ultra-fast OSIRIS UEB-1 Intercept Drone, which caused a sensation at the international exhibition in Düsseldorf

Militarnyi reports on a technical breakthrough by Ukrainian engineers that could be a game-changer in the skies.

The main advantage of the OSIRIS UEB-1 lies in its complete autonomy: thanks to data processing directly ‘on board’, this interceptor carries out missions with virtually no operator involvement. Artificial intelligence allows the device to predict the movement of aerial targets, turning it into the perfect ‘hunter’. A sturdy carbon fibre body ensures flawless manoeuvrability even at a top speed of 315 km/h, confirming the world-class standard of our engineering.

The aircraft’s specifications underscore the ambitions of the Ukrainian defence industry. Weighing just 3.1 kg, it carries a half-kilogram warhead over a range of up to 18 kilometres. An endurance of over 10 minutes is more than sufficient to neutralise high-speed targets. The emergence of such solutions proves that we are creating not just effective, but also intelligent weapons capable of countering modern threats at altitudes of up to 9 kilometres.

Experts emphasise that Ukrainian industry is creating products whose innovation is on a par with leading global developments. The use of such interceptors is the path to a reliable air defence shield, where speed and intelligence are everything. We confidently demonstrate that Ukrainian technology is a mark of quality and cutting-edge engineering, working to safeguard the future.
