Russian operators of industrial railway lines have reported a shortage of diesel fuel, disruptions to its supply and a sharp rise in prices. In light of this situation, the industry association has appealed to the Russian Ministry of Energy to ensure that companies receive priority supplies.

To back up his claims, he published excerpts from interviews with 5 ESBU staff members who had already successfully passed their performance reviews, despite the fact that commission members had raised questions about their assets and integrity.

As part of a new package of sanctions, the European Union will allow member states to sell Russian oil and other goods confiscated from vessels belonging to the so-called ‘shadow fleet’. Brussels believes this will help to increase economic pressure on the Kremlin and reduce Russia’s revenue from energy exports.
