Today, 19 April, there are significant traffic disruptions on the M-15 international motorway between Odessa and Reni. According to Google Maps, traffic jams stretch for kilometres, particularly in the direction of the border with Moldova and Romania

This is reported by Novosti.LIVE.

Where are the worst traffic conditions right now?

The main delays have been recorded on the following sections:

  • Leaving Odessa: traffic jams begin from the Dvokh Stovpiv area.

  • Towards Palanka: the queue stretches from the village of Mayaki through the territory of the Lower Dniester National Park.

  • Starokozache – Tudora: the section is marked ‘red’, traffic has almost come to a standstill, and drivers are waiting for hours.

  • Orlivka: difficulties near Tatarbunary, Brosky and Izmail.

Important warning for drivers

Border guards have stepped up checks at border crossings with Moldova and Romania. In addition to the standard set of documents, a roadworthiness certificate confirming the vehicle is roadworthy is now frequently required. Without it, you may be refused entry at the border.

Restrictions in Odessa itself

Please note that traffic restrictions are in place in the city today until 19:00 near cemeteries due to Remembrance Day. The patrol police are operating on high alert to maintain order and regulate traffic flows.

Plan your routes in advance and check your car’s condition before a long journey!
