The Navy attacked Russian ships guarding the Kerch Bridge; there are fatalities and injuries

On the morning of 24 July, explosions were heard in the Russian city of Kirov, following which a fire broke out on the premises of the AVITEK plant. According to Russian and Ukrainian sources, the plant supplies the Russian defence industry and is subject to sanctions.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out strikes on the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv and Odesa regions. The attacks have resulted in fatalities, dozens of injuries and extensive damage to civilian infrastructure.

In the first year of the PURL international initiative, 29 countries contributed to the funding of deliveries of critical military equipment to Ukraine. Total contributions reached $6.7 billion, enabling the funding of more than ten military aid packages.

On the night of 24 July, reports emerged of drone attacks on Wildberries facilities in St Petersburg, the Leningrad Region, Tver and the occupied Crimea. Fires broke out at some of the warehouses following the strikes, and operations at some of the logistics centres were temporarily suspended.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have engaged in 233 combat encounters, carried out missile and air strikes, and continued their offensive operations on several fronts. The enemy was most active on the Pokrovsk front.
