Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have lost 980 troops and two air defence systems. Russia’s total losses since the start of the full-scale war have exceeded 1.3 million.

Total combat losses among Russian forces from 24 February 2022 to 7 April 2026 amount to approximately 1,305,470 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost 980 soldiers.

Furthermore, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces have lost 11,841 tanks; no changes have been recorded over the past 24 hours. The number of armoured combat vehicles stands at 24,364, of which 4 were lost over the past 24 hours.

Losses of artillery systems have reached 39,562 units, of which 65 were lost over the past 24 hours. There are 1,722 multiple launch rocket systems recorded, an increase of 3 units.

The number of air defence systems stands at 1,340, of which 2 were lost over the past 24 hours. The Russian army has also lost 435 aircraft and 350 helicopters; no changes were recorded over the past 24 hours.

Losses of tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) stand at 223,341 units, of which 1,945 were lost over the past 24 hours. 4,517 cruise missiles were recorded, with no changes.

33 ships and boats have been lost, along with 2 submarines. The number of vehicles and tankers stands at 87,862, of which 248 were lost over the past 24 hours. A total of 4,115 units of specialist equipment have also been recorded, an increase of 3 units.
