The Russian army's casualties have risen by more than a thousand in the past 24 hours
Total combat losses among Russian forces from 24 February 2022 to 8 April 2026 amount to approximately 1,306,500 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, losses totalled 1,030 personnel.
These figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition to personnel, the Russian army has lost 11,846 tanks, including 5 over the past 24 hours; 24,368 armoured fighting vehicles, including 4 over the past 24 hours; 39,625 artillery systems, including 63 over the past 24 hours; 1,723 multiple launch rocket systems, including 1 over the past 24 hours; 1,341 air defence systems, including 1 in the last 24 hours.
Losses of 435 aircraft and 350 helicopters remain unchanged over the past 24 hours, 225,301 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, of which 1,960 were lost in the past 24 hours, and 4,517 cruise missiles remain unchanged.
Naval losses amount to 33 ships and boats and 2 submarines, unchanged. Vehicle losses amount to 88,103 units, including 241 in the past 24 hours. Specialised equipment totals 4,117 units, including 2 in the past 24 hours.
