The 1,491st day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine has begun. The defence forces are holding back the enemy’s offensive and inflicting losses on them across various fronts.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 191 combat engagements took place over the past 24 hours. Russian forces carried out one missile strike, firing 30 missiles, and conducted 69 air strikes using 218 guided bombs.

In addition, the enemy deployed 9,879 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,049 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, 111 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Air strikes were recorded, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivka, Prosyana, Orly, Pokrovske in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Novoselivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Svitla Dolyna, Kopani, Svoboda, Yegorivka, Lisne, Orikhiv, and Shyroke in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Defence Forces’ missile forces and artillery struck one key Russian military target.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 77 shelling attacks, including three using multiple launch rocket systems, and launched four air strikes using 10 guided bombs. One attack was recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, Russian forces made four attempts to breach the defences in the Vovchansk area and in the direction of Okhrimivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the directions of Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Novoplatonivka and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out nine attacks in the areas of Tverdokhlibove, Serednye, and in the directions of Lyman and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five attempts to advance in the areas of Yampil, Zakitne, Platonivka and Pazene.

In the Kramatorsk sector, four assault attempts were recorded in the area of Minkivka and in the directions of Malynivka and Vyrolyubivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 39 attacks towards Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Ivanopil, Oleksandro-Shultyn, Stepanivka, Sofiivka, Rusyno Yar and Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 47 assaults in the areas of Nikanorivka, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, Filiia, and in the directions of Novyi Shakhovyi, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Bilytske, and Shevchenko.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched eight attacks in the areas of Ternove, Krasnohirsk, Zlagoda and towards Pryvillia.

In the Huliaipole sector, 22 attacks were recorded in the directions of Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Varvarivka, Myrne and Olenokostiantynivka.

No enemy offensive actions were recorded in the Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk directions.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of offensive groupings being formed were detected.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces suffered 1,220 casualties. Six tanks, three armoured fighting vehicles, 51 artillery systems, 2,459 drones, 23 cruise missiles and 196 vehicles were also destroyed.
