Zelenskyy to visit the Netherlands tomorrow and address the parliament
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the Netherlands on Tuesday to address members of the Senate and House of Representatives and hold a number of official meetings. This is reported by The Public with reference to the government information service of the country.
In The Hague, the head of state will address both houses of parliament, after which he will meet with acting Prime Minister Dick Schoof. A working lunch with Foreign Minister David van Vel and Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans is also planned at the Prime Minister's residence, Katzheis.
In the afternoon, Zelenskyy will be received by King Willem Alexander at the Hague's Hague ten Bosch Palace.
This will be the fourth speech of the President of Ukraine in the lower house of the Dutch parliament. In March 2022, Zelenskyy became the first foreign leader to address the country's parliament after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. He last spoke in The Hague in the summer during the NATO summit.
Zelenskyy is currently in Berlin, where he is holding talks with European partners and US representatives on ways to end the war and guarantee security for Ukraine.
