Zelenskyy speaks in the Dutch Parliament during an official visit
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed both houses of the Dutch Parliament on 16 December. The speech was broadcast on the official YouTube channel of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Ahead of the speech, the President announced the launch of the International Claims Commission for Ukraine. It is part of the mechanism of compensation for the damage caused by Russian aggression and should record claims for compensation for losses.
Zelenskyy's speech was part of an official visit to the Netherlands. The programme includes meetings with Prime Minister Dick Schoof, President of Moldova Maia Sandu, and an audience with King Willem Alexander.
In addition, Zelenskyy, along with Schloof, Sandu and Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset, is to take part in a high-level diplomatic conference on security and accountability for war crimes.
