General Staff's report: 174 combat engagements and 1400 occupants eliminated over the last day

Over the past 24 hours, 174 combat engagements took place on the frontline, with Russia conducting 38 air strikes and using more than 4,500 drones. Ukrainian defence forces destroyed 1400 invaders and dozens of vehicles

As of the morning of 12 December, the full-scale war is in its 1388th day. Over the past 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian military recorded 174 combat engagements along the entire frontline. Russia carried out one missile and 38 air strikes, using three missiles and 99 guided bombs. In total, the occupiers carried out 4,524 attacks, including 94 from multiple launch rocket systems, and launched 4,485 Shahed drones.

The areas of Spirne, Chervona Hirka and Reutintsy in Sumy region, Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region and Pridorozhne in Zaporizhzhia region were hit. In response, Ukrainian artillery hit the area where the enemy forces were concentrated, a control centre and a UAV ground control station.

The most intense fighting continued in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops stopped 49 attacks, and in the Oleksandrivka sector, where 26 attacks were repelled. The enemy attacked 16 times in the Orikhivsk sector, 11 times in the Lyman sector and 13 times in the Huliaipil sector. In Kostyantynivka district, the invaders made 18 attempts to advance.

Six combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, five in the Southern Slobozhansky sector. In the Prydniprovsky sector, the only attempt of the enemy's offensive failed. No signs of formation of strike groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.

Russian troop losses over the last day amounted to 1400 people. Two tanks, six armoured vehicles, 16 artillery systems, two MLRS, three air defence systems, an aircraft, 253 operational tactical drones, two missiles, special equipment and 107 vehicles were destroyed.

Defence forces continue to hold back the offensive, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy.
