According to the investigation, the suspects sought out victims in Telegram communities, promising to help them trade cryptocurrency, before tricking them into granting access to their digital wallets and siphoning off assets worth millions of hryvnias.

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the detention of three defendants in the Fistal case
The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended the period of detention for three suspects in the case involving the misappropriation of over 231 million hryvnias during procurement for the National Cancer Institute. The individuals in question are Yuriy Vasilenko, director of Orthoimpex LLC; Dmytro Kaliushchenko, former secretary of the NCI’s tender committee; and Bohdan Borisyuk, head of the NCI’s lung and mediastinal tumour department.
