A Ukrainian man has been arrested in Poland over threats made against Nawrocki

What is known about the arrest
Anna Baran, a spokesperson for the Zielona Góra police, said that law enforcement officers had received information about a conversation published online which contained alleged threats against the Polish head of state.
Following this, officers from the criminal investigation department identified the suspect and established his whereabouts.
“Upon receiving information about the published content, officers from the criminal investigation department immediately located the man,” said Anna Baran.
The man was arrested on Friday and taken to the public prosecutor’s office on Saturday.
What charges may be brought
According to the police, the public prosecutor’s office is considering whether to notify the detainee of the charges against him.
He may be charged with insulting a constitutional body of the Republic of Poland in connection with threats made against the president.
Liability for such actions is provided for under Article 226 of the Polish Criminal Code. The penalty under this article is a fine or imprisonment for up to two years.
