Attack on Kyiv on 11 July: 10 people injured, including a child
This was reported by the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, the Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, and the State Emergency Service.
What is known about the consequences of the attack
According to the latest reports, ten people were injured, including an 11-year-old boy. Four of the injured were hospitalised, whilst the others received medical attention at the scene. Rescue workers, police and medical staff are working at the scene.
Where damage was reported
According to the city authorities and the State Emergency Service, the effects of the strike were recorded in several districts of the capital:
- Sviatoshynskyi district — a non-residential building was damaged;
- Darnitskyi district — a fire broke out at a transformer substation;
- Solomyanskyi district — a three-storey office building caught fire;
- Dniprovskyi district — smoke was reported in a non-residential area.
Emergency services are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the shelling. Information regarding the extent of the damage and the number of casualties is being clarified.
