A Russian BREM-D armoured recovery and evacuation vehicle has been discovered in the Dnipropetrovsk region and will be handed over to the Ukrainian military. The vehicle was brought from the de-occupied territories.

Staff from the State Bureau of Investigations discovered a captured Russian BREM-D armoured recovery and evacuation vehicle, known as Object 932, in the Dnipropetrovsk region and arranged for it to be handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The vehicle arrived in the region from liberated territories.

The BREM-D is a specialised military vehicle used to evacuate damaged equipment from the battlefield, as well as for the repair and maintenance of units directly in the combat zone.

According to experts, the cost of such a vehicle ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 million dollars, depending on its configuration and condition. The vehicle is equipped with a crane, a winch and equipment for carrying out repair work in field conditions.

The State Bureau of Investigations is facilitating the transfer of this equipment to the Ukrainian military.

The agency notes that the vehicle will be used to support Ukrainian Armed Forces units, in particular for the evacuation and repair of equipment.

The SBI continues its work to identify and transfer resources that can strengthen Ukraine’s defence capabilities.
