On the night of 26 January, drones struck Slavyansk in Kuban, Krasnodar Krai. According to Telegram channels and media reports, debris from the drones caused fires on the territory of enterprises, presumably at an oil refinery.

On the night of Monday, 26 January, drones attacked the city of Slavyansk in Kuban, Krasnodar Krai. The region's operational headquarters reported that drone debris fell on the territory of two enterprises, where fires broke out. The names of the facilities have not been officially disclosed.

At the same time, the Russian publication Astra and the Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+ reported that the Slavyansk oil refinery was hit. According to their information, a tank caught fire on the territory of the refinery. The enterprise belongs to the company Slavyansk ECO and has a design capacity of 5.2 million tonnes per year, while in previous years, processing reached about 4.1 million tonnes.

Damage to seven private homes has also been reported. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among the residents. Eyewitnesses said that the drones flew in from the Sea of Azov, and five to seven explosions were heard over the city.

The attack on Slavyansk in Kuban was the latest in a series of strikes on Russia's oil infrastructure. Earlier, drones attacked an oil depot in Penza belonging to Rosneft. At that time, it took more than a day to extinguish the fire, involving about 150 rescuers and 40 pieces of equipment. On 21 January, there were also reports of strikes on the Afipsky oil refinery and the port of Taman, through which oil and petroleum products are exported.
