The singer accused the tech giant of copyright infringement and of using her image without permission in adverts for televisions.

This is according to the BBC.

The artist’s lawyers insist that the company attempted to boost sales in the US by exploiting the singer’s success and global recognition.

According to the case file, the photograph was taken during the singer’s performance at a festival in 2024. Dua Lipa became aware of the use of her image in the summer of 2025, when fans began sharing images of the brand’s signature packaging en masse on social media.

Despite repeated calls to cease the unauthorised advertising campaign, the electronics manufacturer ignored these demands.

Now the star, who collaborates with global brands such as Puma, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent, is demanding substantial financial compensation for the unlawful appropriation of her image and the infringement of her trademark rights.
