The Italian company Ferrari is launching its first fully electric car, the Luce, priced at $550,000.

The BBC reports on this.

It is also the company’s first five-seater car — it was created in collaboration with the American design firm LoveFrom.

In the Luce, an electric motor on each wheel allows it to accelerate to 96 km/h in approximately 2.5 seconds. It has a power output of 1,035 horsepower from four motors. The range is around 530 km.

It took five years to develop the electric car — the company manufactured all its components in-house.

Mass production of the Ferrari Luce is set to begin in late 2026.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that Rolls-Royce shares soared by 1,000% thanks to a radical overhaul of engine production.
