In spring 2026, some residents of the Mykolaiv region may receive financial assistance to support agriculture. As part of the “Caritas Mykolaiv UGCC” project, payments will amount to up to 37,800 UAH per household.

This has been reported by Caritas Mykolaiv of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church on Facebook.

In spring 2026, online registration for financial aid to support agriculture opened in the Mykolaiv region.

This refers to the project “Multidisciplinary Aid for War Victims in Ukraine”, which is being implemented by “Caritas Mykolaiv of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church”.

The aid is intended for residents of the region who have suffered as a result of the war, have damaged property or health problems, as well as for internally displaced persons.

Who is eligible for payments from Caritas

Local residents whose property has been damaged are eligible to participate in the project.

This requires confirmation in the form of a relevant report or certificate.

People who have health problems due to the war can also apply.

In this case, a certificate is also required.

A separate category of participants is internally displaced persons.

At the same time, applicants for assistance must belong to one of the specified vulnerability groups.

Citizens with a disability classified as Group 1, 2 or 3 may apply.

Assistance is also available to people with serious or chronic illnesses.

Single mothers or fathers, as well as guardians of children under the age of 18, are eligible to participate in the scheme.

Recipients may include large families with three or more minor children.

Support is also available for pregnant women and women with children under three years of age.

Single people aged 60 and over can apply.

Another category is unemployed citizens aged 50 and over.

Who may be refused

There are restrictions under the scheme. A person who has already received agricultural assistance from other organisations over the past nine months will not be eligible for this assistance.

There is also a restriction for families where the average income per family member exceeds 8,422 UAH.

Where the programme is available

Applications may be submitted by internally displaced persons and those affected by the war who reside in the Ingulsk and Berezneguvatsk amalgamated territorial communities of Mykolaiv Oblast.

The organisers explained that this particular project is being implemented in these two communities.

At the same time, they noted that new projects may emerge in the future, so they advise keeping an eye on updates on the “Caritas Mykolaiv UGCC” page.

“It is this particular project that is being implemented in the Ingulsk and Berezneguvatsk united territorial communities. But there are new projects ahead; keep an eye on updates on the page — we will definitely post information there about opportunities for economic development,” the organisers explained.

How much aid is available

Under the project, Ukrainians can receive financial assistance to support agriculture.

The payment amounts to up to 37,800 UAH per household.

To apply for pre-registration, you need to fill in a special form.

What other aid programmes are available

It was previously reported that the LINK aid project, funded by philanthropists, is running in ten regions of Ukraine this spring.

Under this project, socially vulnerable groups can receive financial and humanitarian aid.

This includes people aged 60 and over, people with disabilities, and families with three or more minor children.

It was also reported that the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is providing financial assistance of 17,000 UAH to families with children in one of the regions.

Such payments are available to families who were directly affected by Russian aggression in 2026.

As reported by ThePublic, in April 2026, Ukrainian pensioners and socially vulnerable citizens will receive a one-off payment of 1,500 UAH. The government has outlined the details of the programme and clarified exactly who will receive the payments.
