Heavy rain is set to hit Ukraine: which regions will see thunderstorms on 16 June

According to her, moist air masses will prevail in Ukraine today, so short-lived showers and thunderstorms are expected across almost the entire country.
In the western and southern regions, the rain will be less intense and will often alternate with sunny spells.
The wind will be mainly westerly and moderate. In the west and north, stronger gusts of up to 12–14 metres per second are possible.
“The air temperature will be pleasant; on 16 June, temperatures of +19 to +24 degrees are expected, and in the east and south of Ukraine, +22 to +26 degrees,” said the forecaster.
Weather in Kyiv
It will also rain in the capital today, with thunderstorms in places. Air temperatures will range between +18 and +20 degrees.
In addition, gusty westerly winds are forecast for Kyiv.
What’s next for the weather
According to Didenko’s forecast, a warm spell is expected ahead of the coming weekend. Air temperatures will then rise to 24–29 degrees. Rainfall will also decrease during this period.
