As of today, 22 June, the self-proclaimed authorities in the temporarily occupied Crimea have announced that they are suspending the operation of all children’s holiday camps. The admission of children to these camps has been suspended until 1 September 2026.

This was announced by Sergey Aksyonov, head of the occupying administration of Crimea.

In particular, bookings, admissions and the accommodation of groups of children ‘at children’s holiday and health centres’ are being suspended.

According to Aksyonov, these measures are necessary “to ensure public safety in the current situation”. He called on citizens to “be understanding of the restrictions that have been put in place”.

Following a series of Ukrainian attacks on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, the local authorities have introduced a number of temporary restrictions. In particular, from 21 June, the sale of fuel to civilians at petrol stations on the peninsula has been completely banned. Power cuts have also been introduced in Crimea.
