Iran attacked Saudi Arabia's largest oil complex
Iran attacked the Saudi Aramco facility in Ras Tanura, considered Saudi Arabia's largest oil complex.
According to the Times of Israel, the fire at the oil refinery has already been brought under control. At the same time, there has been no official confirmation of the attack from the Saudi authorities.
The New York Times writes that since the start of the war, Iran has struck at least six US military facilities in the Middle East. These include the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Manama, bases in Iraq and Kuwait, and a port in Dubai used by the US.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that London had allowed Washington to use British military bases "for limited defensive purposes." After that, the Royal Air Force base in Cyprus was hit by a drone.
The US launched Operation Epic Fury on 28 February on the orders of President Donald Trump, in conjunction with Israel's Operation Lion's Roar. The strikes targeted military facilities, command posts of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and facilities involved in Iran's missile programme. Tehran was attacked in the area of the presidential complex and residences of senior officials.
In response, Iran launched missile and drone strikes against Israel and American military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
