EBRD will provide €11 million to the producer of "Carpathian Spring" for the construction of a new plant in Lviv region, which will create inclusive jobs and have a capacity of up to 200 million bottles per year.

The "Carpathian Mineral Waters" group, which also produces "Carpathian Spring Water," has signed a loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the amount of 11 million euros. The signing took place during ReBuild Ukraine 2025 in Warsaw.

The received funding will be directed towards the construction of a new energy-efficient beverage production plant in Lviv region. The company declares an inclusive approach to employment — at least half of the new jobs are planned to be provided to veterans and people with disabilities.

The total project cost is estimated at 24 million euros. The future plant will be built near the village of Khmeleva in Zolochiv district, and its projected capacity will be up to 200 million bottles of products per year.

KMW also plans to conduct hydrogeological studies during the first years of the enterprise's operation and implement an automated groundwater level monitoring system.

The beneficiaries of the group are Serhii Ustenko (83.77%) and his father Petro Ustenko (16.23%).
