"Madyar" has identified 500 targets in Belarus in the event that Lukashenko enters the war
Robert ‘Madyar’ Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, has stated that Ukraine has already identified 500 targets in Belarus in the event that Alexander Lukashenko enters the war.
Brovdi published a post to this effect on Telegram.
“To Minsk Gauleiter Lukashenko: a barking dog doesn’t bite. A bird of prey is not like that. The first 500 targets are already marked. A free and very practical piece of advice: don’t get in Ukraine’s way,” wrote the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
He also wished Ukrainians faith and fortitude, and urged them to pay close attention to air defence alerts.
Brovdi’s statement came against the backdrop of new accusations from Belarus regarding alleged attacks by Ukrainian drones on border infrastructure.
Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, told Ukrinform that these claims were baseless.
“This is yet another attempt by Belarus to accuse Ukraine of something and shift the blame onto us. At the same time, I would like to reiterate that there is no threat to Ukraine from Belarus. We’ve been through this before and we remember,” Demchenko said.
According to him, Alexander Volfovich, Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council, made “absurd remarks” about the situation in Ukraine and alleged regular border violations by Ukrainian combat drones.
Demchenko also commented on Minsk’s claim of over a hundred instances of drones crossing the border in a single week.
“In the last week alone, they counted 116. My question is: how long did they have to restrain themselves to keep quiet about such provocations by the Ukrainians? And besides, their air defence system can apparently only detect Ukrainian assets, because for some reason they don’t detect anything flying into Ukraine from Belarus,” said the State Border Guard Service spokesperson.
Earlier, the Belarusian Security Council claimed there had been alleged regular attempts by Ukrainian combat drones to attack border infrastructure. According to Alexander Volfovich, over 100 instances of Ukrainian drones entering Belarus were allegedly recorded in a week.
