Mindich declared his readiness to return and go to prison on bail

Businessman Timur Mindich, who is involved in the Midas case concerning embezzlement in the energy sector, has stated his willingness to return to Ukraine and remain in custody on condition of "honest bail".

Міндіч заявив, що готовий приїхати в Україну, отримати підозру та навіть «сісти у в’язницю», якщо розмір застави буде справедливим. За його словами, існує ризик, що суму можуть визначити такою, яку він не зможе сплатити.

Він також повідомив про намір виступити на засіданні тимчасової слідчої комісії та у суді в онлайн-форматі. Бізнесмен зазначив, що підтримує діяльність НАБУ та не заперечує перевірку фактів.

Міндіч назвав своїм «єдиним гріхом» дружбу з президентом та заявив, що саме через це до нього існує підвищений інтерес. Водночас він висловився проти публічних звинувачень до завершення розслідування і судового розгляду.

За його словами, наразі він перебуває в Ізраїлі, оскільки вважає, що в Україні відсутнє чесне правосуддя. Виїзд до Ізраїлю він назвав плановим.

Міндіч також прокоментував застосування до нього санкцій рішенням РНБО, введеним у дію указом президента Володимира Зеленського. Він заявив, що дружба не виключає можливості санкцій і що у разі підтвердження звинувачень такі рішення є обґрунтованими.

Окремо бізнесмен прокоментував епізод із закупівлею бронежилетів. Він підтвердив, що обговорював питання постачання з тодішнім міністром оборони Рустемом Умєровим, однак заперечив намір отримати вигоду. За його словами, компанія його знайомого пропонувала бронежилети дешевше, але не була допущена до постачання.

За даними слідства, учасники корупційної схеми у сфері енергетики легалізували близько 100 млн доларів, отриманих незаконним шляхом.

Повідомляється, що за кілька годин до обшуків Міндіч та інший фігурант справи Олександр Цукерман виїхали з України до Ізраїлю. Згодом президент увів у дію рішення РНБО про санкції щодо них як громадян Ізраїлю.

 

Водночас один із детективів НАБУ Руслан Магамедрасулов зазначав, що Міндіч не є ключовою фігурою у реалізації всіх схем, які розслідує бюро.
