Over the past 24 hours, there have been 140 combat engagements on the front line. The highest level of activity by Russian forces has been recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka sectors.

The 1,497th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine has begun. Ukrainian defence forces are repelling the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into the country and are inflicting losses on them in terms of personnel and equipment.

Over the past 24 hours, 140 combat engagements have been recorded. Russian troops carried out 85 air strikes, dropped 266 guided bombs, deployed 9,132 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,964 shelling attacks, including 77 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Settlements in the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions were subjected to air strikes. Ukrainian forces struck two areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and an enemy drone control centre.

Most active sectors

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 29 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne and Molodetske.

On the Kostiantynivka sector, 17 attacks were recorded near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil, Novopavlivka, Stepanivka and Sofiivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, 13 attacks took place in the areas of Huliaipole, Bilohiria and in the directions of Huliaipole, Staroukrainka and Zaliznychne.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out 11 attacks towards Novoosynove, Kurylivka, Borivska Andriivka, Pishchane and Kupiansk.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, nine attacks were recorded in the areas of Berezove, Kalynivka, Zlagoda and in the directions of Oleksandrohrad and Verbove.

Other sectors

In the Lyman sector, four attacks took place near Drobysheve and Novoyegorivka. In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four attempts to advance near Rai-Oleksandrivka and Zakitne.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy made three attempts to breach defences in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchansk, and in the direction of Khatne. One engagement was recorded in the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kurskyi sectors.

No enemy offensive operations were recorded in the Kramatorsk, Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors. No signs of offensive groupings forming were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces suffered 970 casualties. Two tanks, seven armoured fighting vehicles, 61 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defence system, 2,296 drones and 199 vehicles were also destroyed.
