Nine Ukrainians have been caught in Poland collaborating with the Russians. They were organising protests amongst Ukrainian refugees
This was reported on X by Tomasz Semoniak, Minister-Coordinator for the Special Services, and Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesperson for the Minister-Coordinator.
The Ukrainians and Belarusians involved were exposed by officers from Poland’s Internal Security Agency, in collaboration with the Border Guard. Since autumn 2025, they had been paying Ukrainian refugees in Poland to take part in pro-Russian demonstrations. The Internal Security Agency’s report states that the funds for these activities came from Russia. Their actions are classified as an attempt to influence Ukrainian migrants in Poland and to use them to promote political slogans.
Dobrzyński added that the suspects were arrested in Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, Zakopane and Bydgoszcz. To organise the protests, they exploited sensitive issues: information about high-profile corruption cases and current events in Ukrainian domestic politics.
