Survey "Rating": the main source of information for Ukrainians is Telegram
Such are the conclusions of the study "Ukrainians, trust in the media, and disinformation."

Based on the results of a survey of 2,000 respondents, Ukrainians mainly use the following news sources:

  • Telegram channels – they are read constantly or frequently (4-5 days a week) by a total of 52% of respondents
  • YouTube – 32% watch constantly or frequently
  • Facebook – 28% of respondents
  • The telemarathon "United News" and chats in Viber are viewed constantly or frequently by 25%

84% of Ukrainians never use newspapers and magazines to obtain information, 75% of Ukrainians also never get information from the radio. Over 60% of Ukrainians also do not use regional media, regional and international online media.

Sociologists also provide trust ratings for sources of information. According to their conclusions, Ukrainians generally trust the media little, with somewhat more trust in Telegram channels – 29% – and YouTube channels – 24%.
