Partisans claim Russians are building a new military base in Zaporizhzhia
Agents of the ATEŞ guerrilla movement have reported the construction of a large-scale military base by Russian invaders in the village of Mirne, Melitopol district, Zaporizhzhia region. According to their information, the work is being carried out on territory occupied by the 291st Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the movement, the occupiers are building a permanent field camp to house personnel. Construction equipment is working continuously, and infrastructure is being developed for the long-term stay of the military.
Russian forces are paying particular attention to the creation of a training cluster. Partisans have recorded the equipment of special sites for training unmanned aerial vehicle operators. This involves the formation of a rear base for training reserves and specialists in drone control.
ATESH emphasises that the enemy is counting on the secure location of the facility deep within the temporarily occupied territory. At the same time, the coordinates of the base, 46.930529, 35.417587, have already been passed on to the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The partisans say that the construction is under constant surveillance and the invaders will not be able to escape the consequences.
