A Russian reconnaissance ship, Ivan Khurs, with visible damage, was spotted in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The ship is moored in the Holland Bay.

The Russian reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs was spotted at the pier in Holland Bay in Sevastopol. This was reported by the Crimean Wind monitoring Telegram channel.

The published photos show significant damage to the ship. Part of the captain's cabin has been destroyed, the funnel is missing, and the mast with radio-electronic equipment antennas is wrapped in scaffolding. Equipment at the stern is also missing. The tank deck is covered with a camouflage net.

The strike on Ivan Khurs was carried out on 24 March 2024. Satellite images at the time recorded damage to the stern. After this incident, the ship did not go to sea, and the Russian Black Sea Fleet kept it in bays.

Ivan Khurs is a medium reconnaissance ship of Project 18280. The ship was commissioned in 2018. The ship is currently in Sevastopol and is not fully combat-ready.
