As a result of the enemy strike, Kremenchuk was left without power, water and heating — the authorities are working to restore the infrastructure

During the night of December 7, an air raid alert was declared across the entire territory of Ukraine due to the launch of a MiG-31K — the carrier of the Kinzhal hypersonic missile.
Specifically, the Air Forces detected fast-moving targets heading towards Kremenchuk — where drones were already operating. As reported by The Public, this was announced by the mayor of Kremenchuk, Vitaliy Maletsky, on Facebook.

According to Mayor Vitaliy Maletsky, as a result of a massive combined strike on Kremenchuk's infrastructure facilities, the city experienced disruptions in electricity, water supply, and heating.

City services are working continuously to restore critical communications as quickly as possible. In his statement, Maletsky also called on residents to stay in safe places and not to share photos or videos of the aftermath of the strikes until official confirmation.

Official information about the consequences will be released after the situation has been assessed by the relevant authorities.

Russia is facing mounting pressure due to the situation on the front line, economic problems and strikes by Ukrainian drones on its territory. European officials suggest that Moscow’s increasingly aggressive rhetoric may be linked to attempts to restart the negotiation process on its own terms.
