On the morning of 17 March, Russian forces carried out an attack near the Nova Poshta terminal in Zaporizhzhia. Eight people were injured in the attack, and the company switched to backup logistics facilities following the shelling.

This has been reported by the press office of “Nova Poshta”.

In Zaporizhzhia, Russian troops struck near one of Nova Poshta’s terminals this morning. Employees were at work at the time of the attack.

According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, eight people were injured as a result of the shelling. Specifically, four employees suffered concussions, while another three sustained cuts to the head and body.

Nova Poshta clarified that the innovative “SICH” terminal in Zaporizhzhia was hit.

The company stated that all employees on duty survived. Some of the staff who were taking shelter during the attack suffered concussions, whilst another employee was wounded.

The injured are currently under medical supervision, and the company says it is providing them with all necessary assistance.

Following the attack, “Nova Poshta” immediately switched to backup logistics facilities to maintain uninterrupted delivery.

The press office noted that processes have already been reorganised and the team is working in an enhanced mode.

The extent of the damage is still being assessed. The Regional Military Administration also shared photos of the aftermath of the strike – the terminal building sustained significant damage, and debris is visible in the surrounding area.

The report also notes that this is not the first time Nova Poshta has been targeted by Russian attacks. In May 2025, a kamikaze drone struck the company’s cargo depot in Odesa, partially destroying the building. No staff members were injured on that occasion.

In December 2025, during a night-time attack on Odesa, debris from a Russian drone fell onto the grounds of the sorting terminal’s vehicle yard. The damage was estimated at 2.3 million hryvnias.

In January 2026, Russian forces launched a missile strike on a terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv. Four civilians were killed – two company employees and two drivers working for partner companies.
