Over the past 24 hours, 283 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Russian forces carried out dozens of air strikes, deployed over 10,000 drones and fired more than 3,400 rounds at Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

The 1,598th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 283 combat engagements took place on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops carried out 96 air strikes, dropping 286 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 10,085 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,422 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, 74 of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, six command posts and one other key target.

Sixteen combat engagements were recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out 56 attacks, including 12 using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, Russian troops attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 18 times in the areas of Starytsia, Novovasylivka, Lyman, Vovchansk, Artilne, as well as in the direction of Zybine, Shev’yakivka, Okhrimivka, Hoptivka and Izbytske.

In the Kupiansk sector, four attacks were recorded near Kurylivka and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy made 15 attempts to breach defences in the areas of Borova, Stavky, Lyman, Dibrova, Ozerny, Shyikivka and Druzhlyubivka.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian troops stormed Ukrainian positions 30 times in the direction of Rai Oleksandrivka and Piskunivka, and in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakytne and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, there were six attacks in the direction of Tykhonivka and near Fedorivka Druha and Nykyforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 33 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, Toretsk and in the direction of Vilne.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Defence Forces halted 18 enemy assaults near Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Kotlyne, Hryshyne, Vasylivka and in the direction of Shevchenko, Serhiivka, Bilytske and Myrne.

On the Oleksandrivka front, the enemy launched four attacks in the areas of Tolstoye and Novoye Zaporozhye.

In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 22 attacks in the direction of Dobropillia, Vozdvizhivka, Zaliznychne, Tsvitkove, Charivne, Hirke and Verkhnia Tersa.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five attempts by the enemy to advance near Shcherbakiv, Stepove, Stepnogorsk and Plavni.

In the Dnipro sector, no enemy offensive operations were recorded.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups have been detected.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have lost 1,460 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed one tank, six armoured fighting vehicles, 52 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, two air defence systems, eight ground-based robotic systems, 1,868 unmanned aerial vehicles and 339 vehicles.
