Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv overnight, causing fires in two districts
On the night of 14 July, Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. An air-raid alert was declared in the capital due to the threat of ballistic missile strikes.
In the Holosiivskyi district, a warehouse caught fire following a strike. According to the State Emergency Service, strikes were recorded at two addresses where fires broke out. These were subsequently extinguished.
In the Darnytskyi district, cars caught fire in an open area following the attack. The fire was also extinguished. In addition, a crater was discovered near a school building. Windows were shattered in the main building and an annexe of the boarding school, but no structural damage to the buildings was reported.
Debris was also reported to have fallen at two further locations: in the courtyard of a residential block and on the grounds of a private property. No fires broke out at these locations.
According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the attack.
